Hello students
Here you will leave a comment to this blog. You will need to type in your name and your school email address.
Your comment needs to be a story about milk, and something about how it is made. Use the idea “A day in the life of a …” You can make this a cow, the dairy farmer, the milk tanker driver, or someone or something else to do with milk.

A day in the life of a cow.
My name is Daisy and I am a cow. I live in a field with lots of grass. When I wake up, I stand on my four legs and eat some grass, then farmer Joe directs me into a milking shed with his big machine. I think the machine is scary so I go into the shed. They put some cups on me and start sucking out milk, then after that I go into a paddock with fresh grass. I eat more grass until they milk me again in the afternoon, then I eat more grass. I think I like grass. Some of the other cows tell me that they steal our milk and sell it to people to drink, but I think that is just girly gossip because all cows are female. I eat more grass then go to sleep. The end.
Well done Joe on being the first student to comment. I like how your story is grammatically correct. Keep it up.
I am Daisy the cow. This morning i got woken up at 4am to give milk. I made the long walk to the milking shed in the cold and dark with all of my cow friends. We stood in a line for a really long time until it was my turn. My baby was taken away from me and i miss her. After i gave milk (which only took ten minutes after a long wait) i made the trek back to the paddock. It was much lighter now. I spent my day eating 70kg of grass and 120 litres of water. Then i went to sleep. I got woken up at 4pm to start the process again…..
